I have been out working in the Casterton area in the 300D.
The wagon was still at mechanics sorting out a transmission issue, but is now home, so I will be out travelling in it soon.
Some paint issues that I will work on.
And some thorough cleaning required. My wife has even taken a shine to it.
The kids call her “Lightning” – and that new engine can spin the wheels….on the farm tracks anyway;)
I purchased this sedan as a parts car for Anna, but it seemed too good to wreck. It has the same engine in great condition except it does not have the hydraulic pump that the wagon needs for the self leveling rear suspension! But the transmission would be an easy change over. The engine is nearly new and transmission has been reconditioned!!
So I will do some work on her and use her as a good runabout – might even be able to sell it for a good profit….
